Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering, also known as RV College of Engineering was established in 1963. It is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. Located on Mysore Rd, Bengaluru, the RV College of Engineering campus is spread over 16.85 acres of land. The infrastructure of the college is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities and is also compatible with physically challenged persons. Admission at RV College of Engineering is done on the basis of entrance exams. Admissions in UG courses and PG courses like MCA are done through management quota as well. RV College of Engineering admission at the UG level i.e. for BE courses is done through KCET/UGET/JEE-Main etc. Similarly, candidates need to apply, appear and qualify for the PGCET 2023 for admission into M.Tech programmes. Candidates need to obtain a valid rank in KMAT 2023 or PGCET 2023 for admission into the college’s MCA programme. As per the RV College of Engineering admission criteria 2023, candidates need to obtain the allotment order for the counselling authority before proceeding with the admission process.
RVCE Bangalore admission for engineering courses will open with the KCET counselling in June 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the provisional answer key to evaluate their chances of admission. Also, the KCET final answer key announcement is scheduled for May 10, 2024. KCET result 2024 will be out on May 20, 2024. The candidates who have qualified for KCET can further take part in the seat allotment process.
RVCE Bangalore admission for all UG and PG programmes is based on entrance exam scores. The institute accepts KCET/ COMEDK/ JEE Main for BTech admission. For MTech admission, the GATE exam is accepted by RVCE Bangalore. Moreover, for MCA admission, the KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET exam is accepted.
